With annual passenger growth expected to reach 50 million by the year 2020, Toronto Pearson is currently undergoing a redevelopment program in order to ready itself for tomorrow's air traffic demand. Construction began in 1998 on the 10-year, $4.4 billion Airport Development Program consists of four major projects that will see Pearson Airport rebuilt over and around current facilities.
